Artists brighten up London

Eden Island is adding a splash of colour to London this month by sponsoring the Pro-Art Artist Group in a first ever collective art exhibition outside of the Seychelles.

"Colours of Eden" is an occasion for eight prominent Seychelles artists to showcase their unique talents and inspiration to an appreciative audience. From impressionistic to abstract visions of the Seychelles, its people and its culture, the artists play with lines, colours, motives and symbolism in its various forms, fashioning art through a cross section of media - from sculptures to paintings.

Recognised artists Jude Ally, Christine Chetty, Colbert Nourrice, Allen Ernesta, Egbert Marday, Steve Marie, Danny Sopha and Charles Dodo will be exhibiting at the Royal Commonwealth Society, 25 Northumberland Avenue, London WC2N 5AP between 19 March and 18 April 2008. Admission is free.

Eden Island is showing its commitment to the arts by sponsoring the artists as well as the event. Four of the artists have been commissioned to paint original artworks to be used as prints for Eden Island homeowners.

We are especially proud to be associated with this event and the Pro-Art Artists Group who has made it possible. It is the first collective exhibition of its kind outside of the Seychelles and promises to be a landmark event worthy of the public's attention.

FIRST EDEN ISLAND AUDIO-VISUAL PRESENTATION ONLINE NOW

Our Eden Island film crew recently travelled to Seychelles to shoot a new audio visual presentation that will be shown onboard Air Seychelles flights.  The island became a film set for the two days of shooting with lights, camera and action!  Furniture, props, make up, styling and even helicopters were all part of the shoot.

Eden Island staff members were very closely involved in all aspects of the video.  Some performed behind the camera, working as part of the crew while some showed off their acting talents on-screen. 

The video shows a couple arriving in Seychelles and receiving the keys to their new home.  Special attention is given to the architecture, the fabulous lifestyle and stylish interiors that owners can expect when they buy into this dream.
